Refund Policy

Damaged Goods

  • Reporting Period: Customers must inspect their products upon receipt and report any damages to CF Alarm Industry Inc. within 3 days of delivery.

  • Procedure: Please contact our customer service team via email at service@cfalarm.net or by phone at 888-901-7578 to report damaged goods. Include your order number, contact information, and a brief description of the damage. Photographs of the damage will expedite the resolution process.

  • Resolution: We will assess the damage and, if applicable, arrange for a replacement or refund. Our goal is to resolve such matters promptly and satisfactorily.

General Returns

  • Return Window: Products must be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund.

  • Condition: To be eligible for a return and refund, items must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.

  • Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 15% may apply to returned items, depending on the condition and resaleability of the returned product.

  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items of significant value.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as:

  • Customized products specifically designed for your security needs.

  • Products marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase.

  • Opened software or products with activated software keys.

Refund Process

  • Initiating a Return: Contact our customer service team with your order number and reason for the return. We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.

  • Refund Inspection: Upon receipt of the returned item, our team will inspect the product to ensure it meets our return condition requirements.

  • Refund Issuance: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain amount of days, usually 5-10 business days.

Exchanges

  • We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, follow the procedure outlined in the Damaged Goods section.
